Anna Kushner has translated the works of Phillipe Dubath, Laura Erber, Jorge Ferrer, Norberto Fuentes, Pablo Gutiérrez, Jorge Enrique Lage, Leonardo Padura, Raúl Rivero, Santiago Roncagliolo, Guillermo Rosales, and Gonçalo Tavares for book-length publications, anthologies and literary magazines. She has also translated numerous pieces for non-profit organizations such as PEN American Center.  In 2012, Palgrave Macmillan published her translation of The Guatemalan Truth Commission Report, edited by Daniel Rothenberg, under the title Memory of Silence


Anna earned a degree in Spanish Literature and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a master's degree from Columbia University. She has called the cities of Paris, Seville, and Madrid home and is now based in New York.
